Help with Bows
I have gotten use to being "helped" with my build before doing Zaishen Missions and Zaishen Bounties hard mode. Last night was the first time, I got politely booted from a team because I didn't have a vamperic weapon.
My understanding of mods and inscription is along the lines of a 20% chance is better than a 12% chance. I have about 40 max damage bows. I knew enough to save max damage bows.
I could really use some help with matching up bow type, bow string, bow grip and inscription. I have gained alot of helpful information from these forums, but unfortunately I still don't quite understand.
I want to put together two bow packages (one for myself, another for my wife). What 4 or 5 bows should I include?
Thanks.

Zealous recurve/flat +5e/15^50 for general pve
Silencing recurve +5e/15^50 for bha
Vampiric horn/short 15^50 for spikes
And stay away from "leet" groups that boot you because of something so trivial.
EDIT: just remembered what was the ZM. A vamp weapon (ANY vamp weapon) is useful for the bonus in that mission to be able to die when required. It's a special situation and you should almost never require a specific weapon.

QFT . For the rest you should have :
- Vamp ( Short / Long )
- Zealous ( Short / Long )
- Sundering/Silencing ( Recurve / Hornbow , Recurve )
- Elemental dmg ( Earth, Cold or Lightning )

Follow-up Questions:
Thanks for the many replies and comments.
I have been sorting bows, buying recurve bows, then sorting bows again.
Assume one has the zealous, silencing, sundering and vampiric bows, as listed previously.
Other than Cold and Destroyers, what elemental bows/attacks are best for what creature?
Working backwards, I now have creature slaying bows for Dwarfslaying and Deathbane (undead). If you are customizing a bow with a creature slaying grip, is their an prefered bow string to use with it?
When I get my interim collection put together then I will post it for review and upgrades.
Thanks.

Recurve bows are the best you can use, they're good for any build. If it's one bow I would invest heavily in, it would be this. Be sure to have one for each build you're running (vampiric, zealous, etc)
Flatbows are nice too, they have a high arc though. When I splinter barrage, I use an ironwing flatbow for the energy regain. I rarely miss because the enemies I attack are usually unaware of my presence.
Shortbows aren't worth investing in, they do have a high rate of fire, but they have a short range. I don't really see the need in buying one.
Same with hornbows. They are the slowest and least accurate bow in the game, and are not worth buying at all. If you want to spike, then use a shortbow or recurve bow.
Longbows are good for pulling, but are too slow to use outside of that.
Elemental bows are only useful when you're running a conjure with it.
As for slaying bows, I dont see the use of them at all.
